MacKenzie Lyn is a self-taught artist and Civil Engineer-in-Training from Calgary, Alberta. As an artist and engineer, she is a passionate advocate for the ways in which art and design impact our interactions with the natural and built environment, and loves making people smile by creating the unique art they never thought would exist outside of their own imagination. She works in a contemporary realistic style, primarily using oil and acrylic paint. Her passion is creating art that is not only technically skilled, but that tells an emotional story. In terms of subject matter, this includes portraiture, landscapes, wildlife, and anything else that pushes the boundaries of what she’s done before.
