What is Calgary Art Community?
Calgary Art Community (CAC) is a collective dedicated to supporting and promoting local artists. We create opportunities for artists to showcase their work through exhibitions, events, and community projects while connecting art lovers with original local artwork.
Who can apply to participate in your art shows?
Our exhibitions are open to local artists of all experience levels. We prioritize artists from Calgary and surrounding areas and encourage emerging artists to apply.
Do you accept pottery and ceramic artists?
Yes! Calgary Art Community now welcomes pottery and ceramic artists to apply for our shows.
Ceramic and pottery artists will be provided with a 3 x 6 foot table to display their work. They are welcome to apply to any of our exhibitions and may set their own prices for their pieces.
How do I apply for an art show?
When applications are open, artists can apply through the Application page on our website found under Artist Resources. Each show may have slightly different requirements, so be sure to read the details before submitting.
Is there a fee to participate in shows?
Some exhibitions require a participation fee and a commission on sales, while others may be free to enter. Details for each show will always be listed in the application information.
Do you accept youth artists?
Yes! Supporting the next generation of artists is an important part of Calgary Art Community. Some exhibitions include youth artist opportunities or dedicated youth display spaces.
Do you host art classes or workshops?
Yes! Calgary Art Community offers art classes and workshops for both adults and children throughout the year. These classes are designed to help artists learn new skills while connecting with others in the creative community.

All Sales Final
Because our products include original artwork and limited-run items, all sales are final. We do not accept returns or exchanges for change of mind.
Damaged or Incorrect Items
If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact us within 7 days of delivery at calgaryartistcommunity@gmail.com with your order number and photos of the issue. We’ll do our best to arrange a replacement (if available) or a refund.
